The 2014 Syrah from our backdoor vineyards at 3 Horse Ranch in the Eagle Foothills AVA (Winegrowing Appellation) is perhaps the finest wine we have produced to date. 2014 was an excellent vintage for Idaho, with near perfect growing and harvesting conditions. The fruit came in fully ripe, with well developed elegant tannins. This Syrah was partially matured in New French Oak, to add to its mouthfeel, finish and cellar life. This wine is drinking spot-on now, but will continue to gain complexity for the next five to ten years! Do what we do at the Ranch: Pull the cork and put it to use! Also, Idaho Syrah really makes the meal for ANY season, with notes of pepper, allspice, currants, licorice, smoked meats and leather! Thank You from @3HorseRanch ! 🤠🍷🍇

A very special wine, created with 100% our Oakville Clone block of Cabernet Sauvignon vines.

A distinctive Rhône-inspired blend, bursting with ripe blackberry and dark cherry, savory spice and silky tannins, finishing with richness, warmth and lingering complexity.

What is a Super Rhône style wine?  It's a wine made with grapes not native to the Rhône Valley, France.  So for example Grenache with other Bordeaux style fruit.

Our l'Occasione is made with Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre (classic GSM), blended with Cabernet and Malbec.  The result is a fruity and racey wine that is super food friendly.

The 2016 Syrah from our backdoor vineyards at 3 Horse Ranch in the Eagle Foothills AVA (Winegrowing Appellation) is perhaps the finest wine we have produced to date. 2016 was an excellent vintage for Idaho, with near perfect growing and harvesting conditions. Silky and expressive, with bright cherry and red berry flavors, delicate spice, soft tannins and an elegant, lingering finish.

Thoughtfully located at over 2,800 feet in elevation on top of a knoll, our Estate Pinot Noir is cooled in late summer afternoon by shade from a high ridge in the Eagle foothills.  Careful tending of this young block produced exceptional grapes in its inaugural harvest.  The 2023 harvest carries on the tradition of excellent Pinot Noir grapes.

Velvety and beautifully balanced, offering ripe plum, blackberry and subtle spice with supple tannins and a smooth, lingering finish.  Our traditional blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc creates a rich wine with beautiful structure, velvety texture and lovely layers of plum and mulberry.

A Cabernet-led Bordeaux blend, layered with blackberry, dark cherry and plum, accented by spice, polished tannins and a rich, lingering finish. Estate bottled Beau Geste is a beautiful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec,  Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot. Plush and expansive fruit flavors and beautiful finish. Pull the cork now or wait 10 years.

The Syrah black fruit tones of plums, currants and blackberries are present and The Mourvèdre element is strong this year, bringing vibrancy and power. It's firmly savoury, very dry and dramatic. .The vineyard notes of earth, straw, mushrooms, and stone minerals are more recognizable with maturation in the cellar. The pepper, allspice, cloves, cedar, nutmeg and oak tannins all perfectly complement.  This wine keeps on giving and giving! It still remains as one of the standout fan favorites at the tasting room, for seasoned veterans and wine newbies alike! Dress up your next dinner or evening with this elegant, seductive wine from the Eagle Foothills.
