Cabernet Franc Hills-SV 2014
96 cases were made of this classic, Old World French-style 100% Single-Vineyard Cabernet Franc from the Rolling Hills Vineyard in the Eagle Foothills appellation. Gary Cunningham consulted on the Rolling Hills project as vineyard manager and harvest director. This lovely vintage is the same Cabernet Franc clone grown at 3 Horse Ranch; cultivated, harvested, and vinified in the same manner. Yet these two single-vineyard cab francs are distinctively different. Buy bottles of each cab franc and enjoy simultaneously for a thrilling food and wine experience.

AGING: This wine gains complexity and pays dividends from cellaring. Drinks well 2018-2026.
VINTAGE 2014: The Eagle Foothills and surrounding Snake River Valley harvest was as close to ideal as it gets. The region enjoyed a nice warm summer with perfect diurnal swings (or night time cooling off temperatures) that allowed for picture perfect ripening conditions for whites and reds. An unusually long growing season started in the early Spring and extended into late Fall. Harvest began in mid-September for whites and ran through the very end of October for red varietals.
VINEYARDS: Single-Vineyard, 3 Horse Ranch Vineyards, Eagle Foothills AVA, Idaho

Bottled: Summer 2017.
CELLARS: Vinified, Cellared & Bottled in Koenig Winery, Caldwell Idaho (Snake River Valley)
CLOSURE: Traditional Cork
